And give rebekah or kaimin a call when u r downstairs. OK? 7.30pm - but lets get there by 7.15pm so we can start on time.

In preparation for Pastor Alejandro's visit this weekend, the cells will all be praying every day for the 5 days leading up to Saturday Celebrations.

We're going to be following the prayer chain format. In essence, when you receive a sms with the prayer points, be sure to pray, and then pass it on to the next person.

This is the organisation:

Every night i'll send out an sms to Isaiah, Jim, Michael, Allison and Rachel at 10pm, and they'll pray, then pass it on.

Don't worry about what to pray - it'll be in the msg :)

DAY 1 Pursuing the Kingdom of Christ - Salvations & Inviting
- For a renewed wave of hunger and thirst for Jesus Christ to sweep through the heart of each and every person in ZPH
- That the Lord will move each individual to surrender their rights and priviledges before the Cross and seek only the Father's will
- For more conviction and desperation to see a greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit in ZPH in our generation

Yes, it's important not to break the chain, but at the same time, DON'T FORGET TO PRAY EITHER. Doesn't have to be very long, but it is true that God works through group prayer. Get used to praying, because without prayer NOTHING moves :p

Here's 3 objectives of prayer that I would like you all to keep in mind:

Prayer finds hope for yourself and your world
Prayer allows you to find stillness with God in the midst of the world
Prayer draws you closer to God.

This is purposeful growth. Keep growing, guys!

It deeply sadden me to read the news everyday and see the death figure going sky rocket for the victim of the recent China massive earthquake. The latest death figure is estimated to pass 50,000 and one horrifying aspect has been the number of schools destroyed which means many school children were missing or buried under rubble.

Before anything else, I encourage you to bring this before God in prayer. Please pray that God’s name will be proclaimed through the testimonies of our brothers and sisters in Christ who live in and near these areas directly affected.

The prayer pointers below might be helpful for you to direct your prayer:

PRAYER POINTS:

- Pray for the thousands of people missing or injured that they may they be found and treated for their injuries.
- Pray that food, clean water and shelter will be available to the most needy as soon as possible
- Pray that Christians in China will feel the peace and comfort of worldwide prayers

-Pray that God will minister to those who lost their loved ones and they will feel the love of God

- Pray for the government of China to accept foreign aids to speed up the rescue work

Where: Innaloo Megaplex
When: 6.50pm

We're taking bus 98 from trinity college's STIRLING HWY bus stop at 5.20pm, so be there at 5.10pm. Its abt 20-30 mins ride. Then its dinner at innaloo before the movie.

Last bus back to nedlands is 9.44pm from innaloo, so thats our bottom line. And those staying outside nedlands i'll send home with my banana yellow car.

also remember those who've lost their love ones and injured severely in that typhoon catastrophe. pray for God's hand of protection to be upon them, giving comfort to those who are traumatised and who've lost all their love ones. pray that this would be the time for God to reveal His utmost love and grace and mercy upon His people who've never knew a God that loved them this much. to those who've lost their family, God would be their family, their mother and father. to those who had been traumatised by it, God would help them get a fresh start and let not the past haunt or overcome their future.

you know, the best time God can work His miracles is when we are at our lowest point and literally clinging on desperation because that is when our will, methods and intelligence will not get in the way. that's when we are truely surrendered to Him and God can have His way in us but that doesn't mean we have to wait for a huge disaster to happen before God can work. if we're sensivitve enough, we would have laid our self down and allow Him to work in us even before a disaster occur.

so keep praying(:(:(:

Hey everyone..

I tried calling up the Observatory to arrange a viewing for us BUT they are fully booked this week and will be closing for the winter right after... They will only open again in OCTOBER...

I'm extremely disappointed but I guess it's a reason for me to come back to Perth next time huh?!
Sigh...

So, no more twinkle twinkle little stars from the observatory...but that's not going to stop us from admiring the stars every night (while it's still clear skies) and be amazed at God's creation right? =)
