CELEBRATIONS!!

Hi guys!

The exams are coming to an end, and i personally cannot wait to PaR-TEY!! :p Just to let you know, we've got two cell events coming up this week!

Friday 27th June
Ok we're supposed to have proper cell this friday. SOO the plan is to have cell first, then head on out for dinner and movie :p Here's the details for cell:

Where: Rachels Hse
When: Friday 5pm (6pm end!)
Word: Jeremy
Worship: Jim
Games: Michael

Its thanksgiving cell! If you got a testimony to share on how God has helped you overcome the trauma of the past two weeks, here's your chance to give glory back to God! =)

After that, its MOVIE NIGHT!! Theres a 9.15pm show for Kung fu panda at Innaloo (the latest) and since Jene has a car (yay!) we can drive down after cell haha.

Saturday 28th June
Since its Jene's last night in perth, we're having a pot bless on saturday, @ Jene's place!! 14/109 Broadway, say 7pm. Semi-cell-style ya? Bring whatever you feel like cooking! I'll bring rice :p

ever heard of SOWING and REAPING?

Hey guys! Hows the exam pressure stacking up? Its wednesday of the first week so we're 1/4 there! :p

Here's an opportunity to put faith into action - and no im not talking about jene's housemate! We're going to have a PRAYER MEETING this thursday (18th June), 7pm at Mike's place. Wont wanna take too long so targeting 20-30 mins :p BUT in the midst of the studying flurry, lets not forget to devote some time to God and focus on Him and Him alone.

All the more important since quite a few of us have exams on friday haha. After all, if you honor God, He will honor you.

Have a break - just no kit kat

Hey guys! Since its exam week and all and you guys all no time to cook, Im going to cook for you with my borderline-chacat skills! Its Hamburger Night tomorrow (12th June - Thurs) so come on down to my place (1/115 Fairway - just behind Broadway) at 6.30pm for a quick meal!

Simple fare - Burgers with beef and chicken patties, lettuce, onions, fries and garlic bread. And campbell soup available on request :)

Do RSVP on the CBOX to the left so I have an idea of whos coming :p

And if your study mates wanna come along too then they are welcome :) Just let me know!

The End... Or Is It??

Hey hope all you had fun at combined cell.. AHah I know i did :p

Still.. ITS NOT THE END! FYI the next official cell will be on the 27th June (last day of exams!) BUT i do plan to meet up with u guys during the next 3 weeks! Probably not as long and as detailed as a normal cell. Most likely just cooking dinner for you guys or something. SO do keep in tune to this page :)

Also a reminder to FILL IN YOUR TIMETABLE ON THE LEFT so that I can arrange a 'cellgroup' without jeapordising anyone's exams. Makes it easier to pray for you guys too ok? If you don't believe that prayer helps then let this be the first semester you try it out :p

Red-Hot Combined Cell!

Hey guys!! Friday is the last cell of the semester, and in traditional UWA ZPH style, we're going to end it with a BANG :p

Gonna be like any other cell: Games, worship, word, and food BUT this time all 5 cells will be doing it together!! Here's a good chance to meet everyone else from our extended family!

SO anyway, the DRESS CODE for this cell is RED. What will all the other cells running amok, we're going to do something to stand out of the crowd :) If you don't have a red shirt, shout out on the cbox to the left and we'll see what we can do haha.

Other than that, we're responsible for bringing 2-3 dishes of MAINS for 30 odd people each. There're two proposed ideas below from our inspired culinary experts:

Rachel - Macaroni Soup
Mike - Spagetti

Most likely we'll be preparing it on friday afternoon somewhere in nedlands (location TBA). If you wanna help come on down :p We're going to need alot of help to feed 60 people!

Oh yea combined cell this year is going to be held at ZION CENTRE, Karawara. Starts at 7.30pm, but try to be early - not nice to keep others waiting :p I am personally targetting to be there at 7 so good luck if you are in my car!
